Timur Dzhafarov

An exceptionally gifted musician, Timur Dzhafarov is a multiple prizewinner of national and international flute competitions. He is a Timur is a graduate of Gnessin School in Moscow and is fellow of the International Charitable Foundation of Vladimir Spivakov. He is currently a graduating student at the Royal Academy of Music.

By the invitation of Spivakov’s foundation, Timur participated in concerts in the city of Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam) as well as international festivals in France in Bulgaria and Montenegro.

Timur’s ability to communicate through music is extraordinary. He is a vibrant and charismatic individual and passionate about what he wishes to express as a musician.

Timur joined the RMA teaching staff six months ago and has already gained a wonderful reputation as a very inspirational and dedicated teacher.


Anna Kondrashina

Anna Kondrashina is a prizewinner of several prestigious competitions in Japan and China, she has recently been awarded the Worshipful Company of Musicians Silver Medal in the UK.

Born in Moscow, Anna now lives in London, where she has completed her Master’s Degree at the Royal Academy of Music with William Bennett.

Anna’s international career includes solo recitals in various prestigious venues collaborating with Trevor Pinnock, Rachel Podger, Denis Bouriakov and Vag Papian. She is frequently invited to perform as principal and section flautist with numerous renowned orchestras and has worked with notable conductors, such as Zubin Mehta, Sir Mark Elder, David Afkham and Daniel Oren.

Anna is a very keen educator and shares her passion to music with younger generations giving masterclasses in various countries, such as Germany, Singapore, Israel and the UK. She has been assistant teacher at William Bennett International Flute Summer School and head of the wind instruments at Philomel Music Academy.

Anna teaches at London Russian Music Academy since 2019.
