Upper Seniors
This is the most advanced group of pupils aged 11 - 18, many of whom are Grade 8+ standard and some go on to do Diploma exams.
At this stage, pupils can add the Harmony course to their studies. This course is usually taught at the Higher Education level l but we have been introducing it to our advanced pupils early, and it has proved to be very popular and successful.
Upper Senior pupils can also choose to become mentors of younger pupils. Mentoring is overseen by our teachers and is a mutually beneficial and exciting experience for the pupils and their mentors. Our younger pupils love having lessons with the older ones, and older pupils gain invaluable teaching experience early in life – as the saying goes, “the best way to learn is to teach”.
